This picture gets me every time... Well anyway... I've been digging this band called Starfucker out of Portland, OR. I don't know too much about them but they seem to be pretty new to the scene. Their self titled album features mostly electro/synth pop sound that I find eerily similar to early MGMT. I've got a meeting soon so I'll leave the rest up to you.

Yo I saw them live a few summers ago at the PDX Pop Now! Festival. I bought one of their first albums (it's burned on some shitty maxell disk). It's tight as hell. How did you end up hearing about them? I didn't realize they were starting to blow up.
Additionally, Josh Hodges, the lead singer, has another band called Sexton Blake. You might check them out too.
