Just Say It... They Did.

I've got this friend.... she's got no filter. A direct line from her skull to her mouth. If she thinks it she says it and that's all there is to it. My mind swells with jealousy.

It's not that easy for you and I. One can struggle for a lifetime fighting the inability to express... to vocalize... to just say it and get it over with. Sometimes it's the critics and detractors, but sometimes it's the like-minded that tie your tongue. Embarrassment, insecurity, overwhelming grief and boundless disbelief.. the story of my life.. words unsaid and unheard but nonetheless alive and battling their oppression. I've not heard you and you've heard naught but the sweet deluge of my silence. Why don't we cut the shit and just say it? More after the jump...

Dubstep knows no bounds

Dubstep is no longer the lonely stepchild hiding away in dark corners of the UK.... it's gone global. From sunny California to New Zealand, home to Mt Eden Dubstep, the genre is everywhere... picking up music fanatics of all persuasions. As a testament to the growing crossover appeal of dubstep, I've posted a few remixes of popular hip hop, electropop and alt rock tracks that I'll be banging in the Lancer this summer. Tracks after the jump...

I Like Drugs

So I wasn't even thinking about the upcoming Ratatat LP yet. It's due out June 8th. I probably would've done a While We Wait post about it in a week or so. Too little... too late. In today's tech savvy world leaked albums circle the globe in seconds. LP4 did exactly that. Thousands of people have already downloaded the unreleased album and our having their first listen. Why don't you have a listen too? I promise it won't spoil the surpreeeze. Besides... everybody likes drugs!

Long Hair... Don't Care.

You guessed it... this post is about everybody's favorite long-haired subsonic sensei, Bassnectar. I almost passed up tix to Lorin's set with none other than Major Lazer last Friday night. Let me tell you... it would have been one of the biggest mistakes of a lifetime. I've never seen an electronic artist go so hard for so long... (that's what she said). The set was 3+ hours long.... even after Diplo and crew left the stage.

I can still feel the bass in my spine... Don't believe me... check this.

Y'all Sleeping...

Me too.... I hit the snooze button on this blog bout fifty thousand times. Enough. I'm awake and I'm back bringing da ruckus. While I've been on blogging vacay you fools have been sleeping on Wale. I told you he was the truth back before 100 Miles & Running thanks to my boy dubs from DC. Now I'm telling you again to wake up. Imo his album drop was lackluster but his he continues to spew fire via the World Wide Web. Be it Twitter or his older mixtapes you can cop from DatPiff.... he never ceases to amaze when the label isn't looking over his shoulder. Look out for when he finally let's loose commercially. We'll call Attention Deficit the dry run.

Here are some Twitter released tracks from the hardest working, second semester freshman in the game.
